- ISA/IEC 62443 – Industrial Network and System Security. Developed by the International Society of Automation (ISA) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), this standard focuses on the security of industrial automation and control systems.
- ANSI/API STD 780 – Security Risk Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries. Issued by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Petroleum Institute (API), this standard provides guidance on conducting security risk assessments specific to the petroleum and petrochemical industries.
- NFPA 730 – Guide for Premises Security. Published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), this guide outlines principles for establishing a security program to protect people and property.
- NFPA 731 – Standard for the Installation of Electronic Premises Security Systems. Also, from NFPA, this standard provides requirements for the installation of electronic premises security systems.
- NFPA 1600 – Standard on Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management. This NFPA standard provides a comprehensive framework for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs for continuity, emergency, and crisis management.
- ISO 27001 – Information Security Management. An international standard that provides requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization’s overall business risks.
- ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management. Another ISO standard, this one focuses on business continuity management, providing a framework for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and improve their ability to recover from disruptions.
- DHS Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).
- Administered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the United States, CFATS sets security standards for high-risk chemical facilities to ensure they are adequately protected against terrorist threats.
- ANSI/ASIS SPC.1-2009 – Organizational Resilience: Security, Preparedness, and Continuity Management Systems. Developed by ASIS International, this standard provides a framework for organizations to enhance their resilience through security, preparedness, and continuity management systems.
- EN 50128 – Railway Applications – Communications, Signaling and Processing Systems. This European standard addresses the security aspects of communications, signaling, and processing systems in the railway industry.
- CSA Z246.1 – Security Management for Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry Systems. Issued by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), this standard provides guidelines for managing security in the petroleum and natural gas industry.

- AcuTech was a primary contributor to and author of the ANSI/API Standard 780 Security Risk Assessment methodology, May 2013.
- Guidelines for Analyzing and Managing the Security Vulnerabilities of Fixed Chemical Sites 978–8169-0877-6 CCPS. Page 240. This initiative demonstrates a process and tools for managing the security vulnerability of sites that produce and handle chemicals, petroleum products, pharmaceuticals, and related materials such as fertilizers and water treatment chemicals.
- Guidelines for Chemical Transportation Safety, Security, and Risk. This CCPS Guideline book outlines current transportation risk analysis software programs and demonstrates several available risk assessment programs for land transport by rail, truck, and pipeline for consequences that may affect the public or the environment.
- API Security Vulnerability Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries 2004 Edition, October 2004
- AcuTech served as Prime Subject Matter Contractor experts to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during the development of the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulation, the suite of Chemical Security Assessment Tools (CSAT), and the Risk-Based Performance Standards (RBPS)
